Transformation of an unutilised basement space into a vibrant new learning space. The project comprised two classrooms, suspended from the existing basement soffit, over a third classroom and open learning area. The suspended structure is constructed from glulaminated mass timber and is suspended from the carbon-fibre reinforced existing beam.
